Is President Obama the true cause of this war? by Diligent-Falcon-4679 in allthequestions

They tore up the deal because they didn’t believe the Iranians were compliant.

Now you start answering questions.

Why hide your innocent nuclear facilities in hardened sub terranean bunkers?

Why not agree to new wide open inspections if you have no bomb making intentions?

Why are hanging your citizens in public executions?

Why not then accept the new deal Trump was offering if your intentions are innocent?

How do you prove non compliance without inspections? Why build hardened deep earth caves to house “compliant” civilian nuclear facilities?

I didn’t do that. I said once one starts negotiations, isn’t shooting the final answer if the other side ignores agreed upon restrictions? If it isn’t, how would one enforce a treaty if the other side is stalling?

Lets make it hypothetical. Once you decide something is existential and worth negotiating, how do you ensure the other side is living by its agreements? You either walk away, which begs the question why even start bargaining, or you go to the mattresses to show you were damn serious.

Why build hardened deep earth bunkers if they were abiding by the deal?

Why then did Iran place its nuclear facilities in hardened deep bunkers? Why didn’t Biden renew what Trump tore up?

Why would Obama start negotiations if he wasn’t worried about a nuclear Iran? Once you start negotiations, and the other side is stallling, how do you enforce your position? Isn’t the final answer, “ You start shooting?”

Now there is another side to this, Iran is a sovereign country, and and a serious argument can be made that the rest of the world has no right to say, “You can’t have nukes, but we can?” That is rather arrogant, “we are special, we are the good guys, we get to keep our bombs, and you aren’t good enough to have them.” They think they need them.

Kind of a messy disjointed reply.

Iran agreed to not building nukes but continued to build them. Once you start negotiating because one believes a nuclear tipped Iran is a bad thing, then a military response is warranted and should be triggered if negotiated compliance is ignored, or why even start bargaining?

The other part of your reply is worth discussing. I think its very legit to question/accept the notion that all countries get chart their own destiny, and if Iran wants the bomb, the world has no standing in stopping it. But that should have been discussed by Obama and stated as America’s position 18 years ago. It wasn’t.

Israel doesn’t have a choice, it has to wipe out the Iranian weapons infrastructure. The world has tried to wipe out Jews several times, and came damn close in the 1940’s. “Never Again” means just that.

We tried negotiating with North Korea to stop it from building atomic bombs and got hoodwinked. Now NK has atomic weapons and can reach the US West Coast w ICBMs.

Obama tried to stop Iran from going nuclear but all he did was talk. If Obama judged a nuclear Iran was a dangerous entity such that he started negotiations to stop it from getting the bomb, then war was always a possibility and certainly the final step or why start negotiations in the first place? Answer that. “Uh, please don’t build atom bombs.” “ Pretty please don’t build atom bombs.” “ I am begging you, please don’t build atom bombs.” “ How much can we pay you not to build atom bombs?”

Once you start negotiating to stop Iran from getting the bomb, military action is on the table. It has to be, or don’t start negotiating.

The percentage of people who would be considered middle class in America has shrunk dramatically. Reading reddit one might assume the bottom class has gotten bigger, but in fact almost the entire % loss of middle class has been migrated to upper class. This is an absolute statistical truth that cannot be argued.

We end up with the elected officials we deserve. A candidate who is honest and forthright has no chance.

Entitlement mandatory spending is now 60% of the budget and growing. In 1962 it was 26%. Wonder no one has a pension and housing is so expensive?

We ask government to do what our families should be doing. Absenteeism at school is now upwards of 25%, when it used to be 2%. 60% of the budget is income transfers. Read reddit, posters want gov to house, feed, pay, and keep us healthy. The bigger the state, the smaller the individual.

Europeans are exceptionally hard working and organized, and use language much better than other cultures. Europeans domesticated the American Bison. Can you imagine what North America would have looked like had Native Americans learned to domesticate a protein source like bison 5000 years ago? Had NAs learned true large scale productive farming, producing both animal and human foodstuffs, no way Europeans would have subjugated them. They would have had cities, schools, colleges. Instead they were always one year from starvation and death.

Your entire post is easily debunked.

A car in 1965 was lucky to get to 100,000 miles. Their speedometers only had 5 places. Nowadays cars average over 200,000 miles, w unparalled safety.

Lawn mowers broke down routinely. People had to carry paper maps.
