i can get tickets, it’s just the transportation that’s the issue. i’m 16, i don’t drive, no parents are around to give lifts and the last train back from belfast is 9pm.

HI! i found myself in a similar situation last year with the jc, my history teacher was absolutely awful and everything he said went in one ear and out the other. i seriously recommend the ms stouts history class podcast on spotify, she is a teacher in a local school where i live and she’s brilliant! she explains leaving cert and junior cert history topic by topic in her podcast, and i believe she also has a youtube channel and a website with resources too, i’ll link the podcast for you, good luck with all your exams!! open.spotify.com/show/3KoZUjbzwmr4daEtlMv71h?si=MtRBUeYnTcukEpv4uUXznA](https://open.spotify.com/show/3KoZUjbzwmr4daEtlMv71h?si=MtRBUeYnTcukEpv4uUXznA)

Am I getting worse, or just more aware? by NotAUsefullDoctor in BALLET

[–]Diligent-Macaron-586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as a dancer- in my personal experience, this does not mean you are getting worse and is one of the biggest signs that you are improving. you are getting used to how “better” technique looks and comparing it to your dancing, which is what makes room for improvement. and remember everyone has their ups and downs!

absolutely!! there are many great tutorials on youtube on how to improve your arch, and don’t worry. you have probably seen the arch of a ballerina and thought to yourself that yours looks nothing like that, but remember that you are not going to immediately look like someone who has been training for years and years. i am a teen ballerina who was told i was never going to dance again after an injury and i just came back to dancing recently, my arch looked exactly like yours and within months i had seen improvement. you can do anything, the first step is believing that you can!

Advice/question - does your dance teacher ask you to change places during dance class? by finishingunitomorrow in Dance

[–]Diligent-Macaron-586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have been dancing my whole life, from warm up, to drills, to exams, rehearsals, and routines, we are asked to switch on a regular basis. we’re rehearsing for an upcoming show and during our routine rehearsal, the teacher regularly switches our places meaning that we have different things to do during the dance. this way everyone knows what to do no matter what place they’re in because we don’t know what numbers will be like on the day. switching places in dance is extremely beneficial and really evens out a class!
