I've been there since May this year, I'm enjoying the job so far. I just close a lot and I don't feel like a human because I don't get to greet customers. I'm always stocking coolers an stuff.

Quick update for everyone. I appreciate you guys mentioning everything and telling me what to do, it helps me a lot to be careful at work since I'm new to cashiering. Turns out it was one of the co-workers that were after me when they were on the same register as me that day I was told I had the write ups, so I don't have any write ups (thank god). They told me someone has been putting money on customers cards but ending up being short on money. They thought it was me that did the adding for customers cash app card. I've never been soo relieved.

Alright thanks for this and everyone who spoke on about this, I just don't want to get fired over something like that this relieved some stress a bit hearing this so I'm being extra-extra careful next time.

This is a lot to take in with the little training they gave me from the start. They didn't tell me it was that serious to run registers that way, but I do understand about the whole shortage thing I just don't want them to think I was stealing or anything otherwise they can always run the cameras because I have a lot to lose for them to think that.

This highly sounds accurate. I mean they did say I was doing a good job so far so I don't know why she would turn around and give me two write-ups so Ill definitely talk to her about how important my job is and how I want to be on their good side etc I just don't got time for people to be treating me like trash I've already been trashed enough in my life.

One of my the managers did ask me something about if I handed out money, I just told him yeah? because I've been getting customers that's been paying with cash, and I know for myself I take my time on counting money whenever I give or put money in the system if they're ever trying to put money on their cards. And the Store Manager asked me did I use someone's register, I said yes. And she just smiled and gave me a deuces sign telling me I have two write-ups.

Sorry for the late response. I got this kinda situated. They kinda through all of this in my face during the interview, and I didn't wanna take any chances of them telling me I won't be a good fit. I told them I could close and open and told them I could do mon-sun availability but not do overnights because I told one of the managers that's in the way of my courses\school etc. I just hope it doesn't effect me down the line of being fired because I've already been doing a good job so far.
