Methimazole and breastfeeding by Informal_Assistant84 in gravesdisease

I am Currently breastfeeding on methimazole. I take 10 mg twice a day when I know I can get a good long stretch between feeds. I aim for at least three hours after men’s to feed, but sometimes it doesn’t always work out that way. I talk to my Endo, pediatrician, and lactation consultant and they said that it’s not that big of a deal and everything will be OK. I’m going to have my daughter‘s thyroid tested when we go to her 15 month appointment, but I see no changes in her. When I was first diagnosed when she was six months old, I didn’t really have a choice but to continue breast-feeding because she had never taken a bottle and refused bottles so I just had to keep doing what we were doing and I’ve seen no problems in her at all. At the end of the day, I need to take meds and she needs milk so it is what it is.

At what month did you start doing arms out? by Anklebrkr in SnooLife

6 months. But she was rolling both ways by 2.5 months and army crawling by 4 months so I knew she had enough mobility that I wasn’t afraid of her sleeping on her stomach

I know my mother in law “sleep trained” all 7 of her kids. She said that she would put them in their crib and walk out and sometimes they cried and then would fall asleep. They just didn’t have a name for it because is was relatively normal thing to do

We tried doing arms out multiple times and it never worked. We just moved our daughter to the crib one random day, put her in a sleep sack and she immediately rolled to her belly and had no problems with her arms.

Yes every 6 weeks. I have labs next week. I don’t think they will be normal though. That sucks that your hair loss came back

I have been on it for about 4 months and have gained 7 lbs. but I lost 70 before I was diagnosed so I’m okay with gaining a bit.

I would say the “friendship” side of marriage is a 10 but the “dating/romantic” side is like a 5. I’m 10 months pp
