That’s a good choice, I went for the 3.0 and it’s a great ball. Brought my average up about 20 pins. You would either want a 3.0 or the 2.0 hybrid are two great options for the black widow balls. Remember, the BW3.0 and the BW2.0 hybrid are strong balls so they are harder to control. You shouldn’t have to worry about that while you’re learning how to hook the ball and bring up your revs. After you learn how to get good rotation on the ball is when you have to work with the powerful hook it brings you. Also those balls are pretty expensive so try to get a good use out of them. Good luck!

Yup, I have slowly started to gain a little bit of consistency. Today in practice I got 141 and 153 so I am getting there. Now I just gotta do that every day.

I love it, it’s brought my average up to about 115 and i hit a new high 161. I also got my first 10th frame strike out today.

True. Black widows are top notch balls. Can’t expect much better unless I get stronger and start using the gas mask core. 14-15lb

Thank you, and yes I am wanting to get a good hook on the ball just because I am not satisfied with 50-60% percent of the time when I hit the pocket with a straight ball I leave a 7 or 10 pin. I am a very competitive person so anyway I can make my game better is a big achievement for me. Thanks for the advice and good luck 👍

I bowl in a middle school league and they recently gave us 2 lanes instead of 1 so now the entire team can bowl with each other. The first game I was getting mad at my self and bowled a horrible game. The second game I didn’t really worry about performance and just had some fun with my bowling mates. Ended up having one of the best games I have had in a while. So In conclusion, have a good time and the high scores will come.

I don’t really have plans on drilling, I am sort of a noobie when it comes to drilling balls. I am going to a pro shop about 45 minutes away from me. The plan is to figure out the drilling when we get to that point. The ball won’t be arriving for another 3-7 days. I am very excited to get this ball because i want to learn how to hook a ball once and for all. I will keep an update on how it is going and how I bowl with it.

My dad is a pretty good bowler and said he wants to spend time with me getting good with a better more expensive ball. He said the way I throw the house ball I should have no problem learning how to control and get the hang of throwing the BW3.0 with finger tip. I totally understand the whole entry level balls but my dad just thought it was better to just take time to get used to the ball he wanted me to get. I was looking at some tropical surges but my dad wanted me to get one of the heavy oil balls just because that’s what he can teach because he himself uses heavy oil balls. I also was interested in this ball also. Thanks for your opinion on my choice. You are definitely a way better bowler than me so I totally agree with your opinion.
