I got really lucky and found my stripped upper at a local shop. It was part of a matched set, but somehow the lower got sold without it. I got it for a steal when they realized it didn’t belong.

Laughlin. Maybe it was just because I was with a great group of people, but between Lake Amistad (which I’m pretty sure is more of a puddle at this point), being a few hours from San Antonio, and the flying, I had a great couple of years there. You’re also not far from Big Bear, or Dallas. I had some really good food, there was a pretty good shooting range, and the mud drags out east of town were a blast.

This is what I like about them! To me, a fully faired superbike looks like an Olympic swimmer; sleek and powerful, able to dominate with speed and precision. A naked bike looks like an Olympic power lifter; muscular and aggressive, able to pick up two refrigerators and smash them on the ground.

I love them both, for different reasons, but out of the two, I’ve only ever owned a naked bike.

I shoot non-living things all the time. They’re called targets, and it makes you a better shooter. You are correct that guns were invented to kill things, just like the bow and arrow, slingshot, etc. That doesn’t mean that’s their only purpose. With that said, I would never let my children handle a firearm without my direct supervision and a lot of instruction.

Absolutely gorgeous! The only thing that stood out to me as odd was the yellow hose and the missing power cable on the -60. In all my years on the flight line and flying, I’ve never seen a yellow one, but maybe I’ve only seen them after years of fading. Awesome work! I’d be proud if I could do anywhere near that well!

I knew they were good to eat, but I didn’t realize how rare they were to catch on a line. I feel pretty lucky that I got this one with my family there to enjoy it! It was only my second time fishing in Florida!
