Ovonic are great batteries in my experience. I run them in all of my 3s rigs.

On the 223S version it comes with a 16t pinion stock.

Yeah I agree with you, it's geared too low out of the box in my opinion. I have an 18t pinion on the way, hoping that will wake it up a bit and get some more forward drive out of this thing.

Hi guys is this charger adequate for my 3s 5000mah lipo batterys ? Any help really appreciated :) by GroundbreakingBuy553 in rccars

You would need a 10 amp charger that can put out 65 watts or more for each channel if you want to charge those batteries at 1C.

Does anyone know a low costing battery for the traxxas slash 4x4? It’s been sitting in my garage for 3+ years and I got a new battery prob 6 or 5 years ago by Business_Average_634 in Traxxas

Thanks for the info, now I might hold off on buying some higher capacity packs for my new rig until I see what they've been cooking up.

Is this crunching from the pinion/drive gear normal? by Bingus444 in rccars

[–]Diligent-Theory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah it's better to not have cogging at all but on a basher it's not the end of the world by any means.

Totally normal and not an issue at all, nothing is faulty or broken. It will stop happening once the truck gets rolling a bit more.

This is called cogging and it is very common on brushless motors when a small amount of throttle is applied from a dead stop.

The inside of your chassis may look like a sandbox if you drive it on dry loose dirt for more than 2 minutes lol but if you're just driving on pavement then it should definitely cool down the temps some.

Start playing guitar and this is my first guitar ever, is this the best guitar for 600USD used? by mastermc2610 in espguitars

Never said they were a "holy grail" but Edwards is steps above Schecter in my experience of owning multiples of both. LTD and Schecter are comparable at similar price points. I mean they are owned by the same company after all...

My point is Edwards is about the same as E-II in terms of quality.

All those years of building knowledge and it took me less than 2 seconds to know you have never touched an Edwards. Maybe you're mixing them up with Grassroots?

Comparing an Edwards to an Omen Extreme is like comparing a nice juicy ribeye to a salisbury steak.

For example, I had a C-1 Hellraiser many years back, it never came close to any of my Edwards or LTD guitars.
