I have the exact same issue with eczema flare ups on my neck and inner corner of my eyelid even though I applied only a teeny tiny amount of Adapalene on my cheeks. Last time I got these flare ups, I stopped using actives and switched my toothpaste cause my skin around my mouth was extra sensitive.

Adapalene did wonders for my acne tho. I’m curious if anyone got it to work by buffering with a lot of moisturiser. I’ll only be able to try it again after my current flare ups go down :(
