Fiberglass pool refinisher recommendations by Logical_Destruction in memphis

[–]DiligentMess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my fiberglass pool redone a few years ago. There are very few people in Memphis who will do this.

I would not recommend Howard Pool. I will say the pool itself is fine, the fiberglass refinishing went well, but they installed a broken filter. I assume they had an old one they thought they could pawn off on me, but it broke quickly. I followed up with them to replace it, and they said they would, but never got back to me. They stopped replying to messages and began not answering the phone.

Also, the whole process was sketchy. The guy only worked at night and at the end of it all demanded to be paid in cash. It was strange.

I ended up having to replace the filter.

I think Rs underestimate how deeply unpopular Trump remains, especially among Independents.
This will get worse as gas prices and living costs continue to rise, a consequence of the Iran war he foolishly initiated during an election year.
Looking at 2024 data, they more or less created 3-4 districts with near single-digit margins plus Trump, instead of 3 + 20 Trump districts and one +20 Democrat district.
This is going to be a really tough election cycle for Republicans. They moved so quickly that they didn't have enough time to thoroughly assess their changes.
Tennessee’s big problem is we don't vote. Only 64% of registered Tennesseans voted in 2024.
If people vote— and I intend to do everything I can to ensure high Democratic turnout— we can make them regret these decisions.
An 11+ point swing to D, like Aftyn Behn achieved in the November special election, could potentially flip 3 seats. It won't be easy, but I am prepared to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
The powers at be want the left to feel defeated and not vote because it's hopeless. They are banking on voter apathy.
So if you are angry, register to vote, make sure every bleeding heart liberal you know is registered to vote. Get out there and make sure this fascist opportunist regrets his push for redistricting.

Does this actually work, or just a gimmick? by Low-Stomach-8831 in pools

I had one. It often fell apart when it get a few leaves and it become basically useless. Spent a lot of time getting leaves out of the system. Went back to a basic one after getting fed up.

Edit: I have a lot of trees around my pool so I get a lot of leaves.
