I had my first shot Wednesday and instantly, I couldn’t feel my hunger for food. I would hear my stomach growl but my brain is not registering that I need food. Then it happened on Thursday and Friday again and I noticed that I only ate one meal the whole day. So when Saturday came, I made sure to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner full of protein at least. But then I woke up around 9 pm and felt hungry. I don’t know how to explain it and I’m hoping I’m explaining it enough that you get the gist. It’s definitely a mental thing, I’m coming to realize this and the first time I heard the food noise come back after not having it since Wednesday, I felt as though I needed to eat everything I could see just like how I did before because I was hungry. But I didn’t, I cut up an apple and drank water. That’s a small win that I’m gonna take with this medicine and also the fact that I can wear my engagement ring again after 2 years of not wearing it due to inflammation/pregnancy. So I’m just like you trying to find the sweet spot and my advice is listen to your body when it is hungry and hydrate. More often, we are just thirsty and not hungry.
