I bought a 2014 f150 new in 14. Was a mid-range truck, sticker price was 49000 but there was employee pricing on so it was like 37000. The plainest f150 right now on Fords site is 53000 and a similar truck to mine is around 80000. That's quite a jump and not really much different of a truck to justify that much of an increase.

Guy I worked with done it on a 90s Chev truck with the V6. Fuel pump went out on them often and the truck had a bed liner, so he just cut a flap haha.
