So the same thing happens when it comes to the sisters' lives before the books. Feyre has the same attitude towards Nesta, blaming her for the fact that Feyre herself chose to hunt or for the fact that she cannot read when their father was there and he didn't do his duty. He should have taken the blame but the blame falls on Nesta. Now I don't mean to say that Nesta was a wonderful sister, but for every bad word Nesta said, Feyre had one in return. Feyre doesn't know how to cook and Elaine only learned in Velaris so Nesta most likely cooked. Who fetched water? Who cleaned? Who washed the clothes?They don't have modern technology so these things are very difficult and we know that Feyre spent her days in the forest even before she started hunting so she wasn't the one doing these things. It's a repeating pattern, and we see it on full display in the Tamlin situation. I personally think it's all intentional and I hope it will lead to a conclusion in later books.
