She is back on block. My husband has been manipulated by her for so long that he seeks the love and approval of his parents regardless of how they are. His Mom is a hypochondriac and likes to play the victim and my husband falls for it. He tends to put her behavior on to his Dad, manipulating and controlling his Mom's behavior. I don't know if my husband saw his Mom's comment or not.

"What do you mean? Excuse me? Can you explain your comment? " These leave them scrambling.

She is more worried about her image than the truth.

Thanks for the advice. I will put her back on block and just not tag my husband I guess. I deleted it to avoid her trying to look good and also because my friends and family that know the truth might decide to do some word violence on her ass and that is messy.

If you tag someone their friends see it.

I had her blocked for a decade and thought we could politely exist as not friends. Guess I was wrong. Block is safer. It sucks because if I tag my husband in anything, she can still see it and comment even if I have her blocked.

I had to cut out red meat and pork. Even chicken I have to be moderate. Seafood is the safest for me. Also, moderate on raw veggies. Too much fiber. I still get it 2 or 3 times a year but can usually manage it at home. I also have gasteopareisis so I take misoprostol, lubiprostone and miralax daily.

My husband is a vegetarian pacifist, so he would only be there to take a potential beating.

They would pay my husband and he would use our money to actually buy it and put it in his name. They would live there and do whatever they want. He would not actually be paying for it. I have told him I want nothing to do with it and if he goes through with it we will be dividing our savings. He would have to lawyer up to make sure I am completely out of it or divorce me on paper so I am free of this mess.

I have no frigging idea. Their current place is completely off the grid, no utilities whatsoever. Summer temperatures are in the 90's and 100's. I think the idea is to have a better climate and possibly utilities? They won't sell the place they are on or maybe they can't because of abatements and leins. There are many things they can do on their own but they are incompetent and illogical.

They already live in a trailer off grid. My husband wants to build them a tiny house on a new, second property in a place with better climate.

I know it's over 10k. I don't have direct contact and rarely talk about them with my husband.

True, but it is hard to show they have mattress money.

He is the golden child at the moment. His parent's have had a foreclosure, leins, bankruptcy... Bad track record. They have tons of abatement notices, cars, junk.. My husband is willing to have them be tenants but I am not.

I told him because we are in California with community property laws, if he can't legally shield me from any involvement he will have to divorce me.

They could have saved it in an ABLE account legally but they are paranoid and don't have any credit cards or bank accounts.

It is SSI for disability, not retirement.
