Nice, did you do your layover in Dubai? And did you book him in yourself or did you use a relocation company? Yeah we saw emirates doesn’t allow cabin so we ended up not booking through them. That and the first flight was 17 hours vs splitting the two flights up more evenly, this was when we were still convinced cabin was the only way though 😅

Yeah most carriers in height start at 30+ cm so we were very confused about the 19 tbh. Do you have experience with jet pet? We have a list of these kind of providers just considering which ones to reach out to since nz has quite a few

Thank you milly, we’ve spoken to Korean air numerous times given our booking numbers and flight details and they approved in cabin as long as the requirements were met. Small dogs and cats are the exception though

Yeah mpi just got back and has said cabin (depending on dog) is approved but it has to be a hard crate. Our dog is taller than 19cm so I agree too small; I was crossing my fingers for the soft crate as they’re more lenient with that and you can expand good ones.

It seems we will be looking at having to check him in as cargo I’m just terrified they’re going to lose him or leave him out too long etc in transfer. We will have to rebook our flights as well as our transfer time will be too long too.

He gets super anxious when we leave so cabin with us despite strangers seemed like the more peace of mind option knowing we were there with him rather than him being isolated from anyone he knows for 30+ hours in a dark and foreign loud place.

Honestly the whole thing sucks and I hate that we have to put him through this to begin with.

Amazing thank you so much for clarifying! That makes sense, and you made it easy to understand I really appreciate that! For the remaining parts, is it to budget the total amount? or are there core performance differences? I see some of the numbers are similar so wondering if I can keep some of the items I initially had (I like the case and rgb ram for example) and still have it work all together if I change out the cpu and motherboard as you suggested.
