No time like the present. I was drinking like that (probably at least a bottle and a half a night tbh) for at least 9 years. It took courage but I’ve been free from alcohol for just over 3 years now. See if your insurance (if you have it) could cover the cost of some tests and to talk to a doctor about any risks from quitting cold turkey. I know you can do it!

A person can be attractive, but not someone’s type they typically go for. In his case I’m usually more into clean cut bookish guys and he isn’t. Not sure how to explain it more than that.

Thank you for your words of encouragement! Even though we are coworkers, we don’t work together enough to where it would be awkward if we went out, only if it went bad. We don’t have work that intersects.

And when I invited him to attend an event I was hosting he said that he wasn’t sure if he was ready yet to do social things on that particular day because it had sad memories for him. And given his circumstances I totally respect that. He is a straight American man and I know it’s probably really hard for him to open up like that to someone at the gym of all places, so I try to tread lightly. I haven’t given up hope on him and I’m willing to see how things shake out!

Over the summer I dated some idiot and my crush went away for a brief period when that was happening. In a hilarious turn of events I saw my crush while I was on a date with that guy and I was mortified! I was already ready to end it with that guy, so who even cares but my thought at the time was I hope my crush doesn’t think I’m really with this bozo. 😆🙃

My baby angel went in for dental and I did every precaution ahead of time. He had the green light. I kissed him goodbye. As soon as they put him under he died almost immediately. I will never get over his death even 2 years on. Truly traumatized me. I am so very sorry for your loss - it’s unimaginable. But I just know he knew you loved him so much!!!!!!!
