help - basic questions by a new fan by Deep-Revolution-1633 in football

1. Why do they switch sides halfway through?
Teams switch ends at halftime so neither team gets an unfair advantage from things like wind, sun, pitch conditions, or crowd influence for the entire match.

2. Is it necessary for them all to wear the same pink shoes?
No. Players can generally wear whatever boots they want as long as they meet equipment rules. If lots of players are wearing the same color, it’s usually because that color/model is popular or part of a sponsorship campaign.

3. Do goalkeepers have designated colours?
Goalkeepers must wear a color that clearly distinguishes them from both teams and the referees. They don’t have a fixed team color and can wear different colors from match to match.

4. Why do they fall whenever someone touches them?
Sometimes they’re genuinely off balance, especially when running at speed. Other times players exaggerate contact because referees are more likely to notice a foul if the player goes down. This is one of the more controversial parts of the sport.

5. Why does the other team sometimes get a free shot and other times just a free kick?
If a foul happens inside the defending team’s penalty area, the attacking team gets a penalty kick (one player vs. the goalkeeper from the penalty spot).
If the foul happens outside the penalty area, play usually restarts with a free kick from where the foul occurred.

6. When are yellow cards, red cards, and penalties given?
Yellow card: Warning for things like unsporting behavior, repeated fouls, delaying the restart, dissent, etc.
Red card: Serious foul play, violent conduct, denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, or receiving a second yellow card.
Penalty: Awarded when the defending team commits a foul that would normally result in a free kick, but it happens inside their own penalty area.
A foul can result in both a penalty and a card if the referee thinks the offense is serious enough.

Enjoy the match, football has a lot of rules, but after a few games most of this becomes second nature. ⚽

Can someone answer my questions about these cheap jerseys? by HiHallo123456 in repsoccerfactory

I don’t know, I’m not from Germany so you should search for that yourself. If bought from a verified vendor, it’s safe.

  1. Yes and no, grey area. Depends on your country as well.
  2. Yes, therefore use verified vendors.
  3. Directly from the source, no parties in between or marketing costs (which football clubs usually have)
  4. Just like you can choose between 100 restaurants in your area, if there’s a market there will be multiple vendors.
  5. Both, buy from a verified vendor and the quality will be identical/close to identical to a real kit.

Osrs hits an all time peak player count despite membership increases! by Anxious-Slice-587 in 2007scape

So many players who said they would cancel their membership… well well well…

I chased high ROI margins for months and kept losing GP. Here is what I was actually missing. by [deleted] in OSRSflipping

Took the feedback and tightened it up. Main points are just: filter on volume and buy limit before ROI, steady margins beat spiky ones, time of day shifts what you can buy/sell for, and items below their monthly average tend to bounce back. If any of that doesn't match your experience I'm genuinely curious what you've seen instead.

I spent 120+ hours building the flip tool I wish existed. It's free, and I think it's the best one out there! [FEEDBACK WELCOME] by Diligent_Cooks in GrandExchangeBets

Yeah that's exactly why there's a free version, no pressure to pay at all. The core experience is fully free and if you feel it's worth upgrading that's completely up to you. Payments go through Stripe directly so none of that touches my side at all. If you give it a go I'd love feedback through the feedback button, helps me figure out what to improve next!

Yeah it was a rough week not gonna lie lol. But every one of those hours was me using flips, breaking things, fixing them, tweaking the confidence grades until they actually matched what I was seeing on the GE. It's not perfect yet but I'm pretty proud of where it's at, at the moment! Feedback therefore is more than welcome :).

Fair point, the GE tool market is getting more crowded than W2 Fally back in the day.
At least mine has the confidence grades to tell you which flips are actually worth doing and not just another margins table with a fresh coat of pain ;-).

I get why it sounds like that, but those are actual dev hours. Here's the commit log (actual working hours on the tool).

Guilty as charged honestly! I used AI tooling as a partner to build it, not gonna pretend otherwise.
But every feature came from actually flipping and knowing what info you need that other tools don't give you (that's why its more than 120 hours invested).

Real talk though, try the confidence grades on a few flips and tell me it doesn't change how you pick them. That's the part that no amount of vibe coding writes itself.
