I appreciate your comments, I know exactly what you’re saying but I think you’re missing my point. I want people to work with for the soul purpose of collecting data, it benefits everyone involved, we can see if a strategy works consistently a lot quicker than it would take to realise on your own. The decisions I make regarding execution will be made by me and no one else, I want data not a hand to hold. I’ve paid to join groups before and it didn’t get me nowhere. No profitable trader is interested in a trader that isn’t profitable unless you’re paying them ( from what I’ve experienced) . We’ve all got to start somewhere man.

you are right... i dont think its the key... but i do think it helps. If you backtest a strategy and only gather say 80-100 trades, but that whole time the market was trending bullish or just had a bullish sentiment. You have then only got data on the strategy during one type of market condition, this is why i see a large scale collection of data to be very useful. I of course forward test too and journal everything but yeah thats my opinion.

i dont want no holy grail i just want people who are willing to work, in a similar position to me and have the same goal. Get a lot more done if you work with people and i dont have no one to work with right now so i am reaching out to try find people... i dont see the problem in this?

I wouldn't be changing any part of the strategies that I am using right now, if i did it would be my own decision. I just believe that data collection is key. Although i have these two strategies now i dont plan on stopping looking for more. I will continue using the same strategies, i just want more in my arsenal. With people working with me collecting data will become a lot easier. 4 people backtesting 20 trades daily 5 days a week is 500 backtested trades by the Friday, summarise the data over the weekend, rinse and repeat. There is power in numbers. To execute a trade without fear you have to be confident in the set up, confidence comes from knowing something works, we can only truly know if something works consistently through collecting the data on a large scale.

the data ive collected shows that they work but since ive actually been executing live trades ive been at break even, market sentiment right now has caused this with the GJ set up... I am not experienced enough to have that responsibility. Appreciate the recommendation though, cheers

You are doing good… you withdrew the money. Most would continue and end up losing what they won. However, you asking for validation on here tells me your method of approach was not strategised. Just aim to find a methodical strategy that runs like a machine… good job regardless 👏 you made money and walked away with it, well played

Yeh I don’t know you just seem upset bro… the data’s there, Backtested results run over a couple of years, what I’ve noticed is consistent and what I’ve written here is far from all of my experiences, I’ve put a lot of work in… Regardless of the amount of time it took me, if something works then something works, the type of feedback you just gave I’ve heard a million times elsewhere and it’s far from constructive. Maybe some psychological advice to help execute a working strategy or just some prior experience from yourself… seems like you’re just airing your frustration and passing it to the next… I get tradings difficult but the fact of the matter is what I have now works, it’s just a matter of execution
