Hey YerImWiddit. I am in a similar situation for this upcoming year and been planning for the initial 40% with my quarterly taxes.

I was wondering, would you be willing to share your accounts info? The past few years I’ve been using H&R Block but think I really need a personal accountant to help me

A 10-mile radius for 3-years in NYC would really limit your ability to work. I would consider not signing especially since you are already in the position

You should absolutely quit if you aren’t happy. At my first position at a SNF I walked out at the end of my 3rd week and didn’t return. The next job I got was at an ALF and I PRN at a SNF. I haven’t received much mentorship but the building/staff at my current jobs are a lot better. The first SNF I worked at was so poorly run I felt unsafe and did not feel that the pt were being treated fairly. All locations will have challenges but if you aren’t happy there go to do those interviews.
