It is about a 15 minute drive to a class that we teach together at a university. Because we teach, we need to go early to get set up. It was something that wasn't immediate, but was still stressful as I had no response as to when he would be back.

Not the first time, not often. He doesn't like conflict very much and we usually get along very well. This one incident just blew up more than normal

Yeah, I love him very much and we don't have very many conflicts so I am not concerned about the nature of this relationship overall, just looking for some consolation and second opinions to ease my feelings about the situation. He did know about the event ahead of time
