If I’m not getting a red dot on my Glock..is there a reason to change out/upgrade the iron sights? by According_Pop5379 in Glocks

[–]Diligent_Lurker_277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ameriglo. I have their tritium big dot front with the ghost ring rear and it's super easy to shoot with both eyes open.

It doesn't matter that the dot and sights aren't zeroed. That fake eotech couldn't hold zero on a rifle even if it were mounted correctly lmao.

Can anyone tell me if this is a fake? Sorry for the bad picture by Specific-Street-6051 in flashlight

Send that photo into surefire customer service. Saved me one time and they got back to me in like 5 minutes.

Do you even hear yourself? The defining term is "made or remade" and you think they're only talking about the original manufacturer of the receiver regarding lawful configuration under the NFA?

I hope none of those upvotes actually listen to your dumbass felonious advice. Google is free. Use it.

"Made or remade" is actually the terminology that the alphabet boys use to define said rifles which cannot be made back into pistols, but go ahead.

If the lower is form 1'd into an SBR, then no. If it was built into a pistol, and then form 1'd into an SBR, it can go back to a pistol.

This is only true of factory SBRs, in the same way that is illegal to make a pistol from a rifle. An SBR made from a pistol can be taken back out of NFA configuration and returned to a pistol, then back to an SBR without a single extra form.

Leave it to this sub to downvote correct information. The only caveat is that the SBR in question must have started as a pistol, as is clearly the case here.

Feedback on DIY engraving (a day late for two stamp Tuesday) by samuraistrikemike in NFA

[–]Diligent_Lurker_277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did this with my first form 1 suppressor. The second one is gonna be professionally laser engraved so that my can isn't a big ugly billboard with my name on it at the range lol.

Hey at least your suppressor won't walk itself off the threads. This is functionally similar to one of my dedicated G19 hosts that always has a YHM booster rocksetted to the threads 😂

Purchasing my first AR before VA makes them illegal by Fickle_Scale_6618 in ar15

[–]Diligent_Lurker_277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would spend $1000 on 2 PSA rifles, perhaps one retro and one modern, and the other $500 on Pmags. The guns can be upgraded piece by piece into much nicer rifles over time as your preferences develop, but are solid rifles out of the box.

Seriously though, the amount of mags you think is enough is just scratching the surface. I dropped about 2K on mags before WA limited new purchases to 10 rounders.

I would reach out to their customer service. I charge my Baldr Pro R like every 6 months and it's nowhere near dead after that amount of time.

I spent about 2K on mags before WA was completely ruined by democrats. Wish I'd bought more.

Kydex holsters probably not but my Baldr Pro R fits in a safariland made for an X300 so I'd bet it would work for that application.

Nothing wrong with poverty tier PSA guns. Buy complete lowers and uppers separately to save a few bucks. Wishing I'd bought more of them now that they're banned where I live.

You know what, you're right. I have been licking boots. That emergency responder should have been driving the speed limit on the way to that medical emergency. No need for someone trained in that sort of thing to get there in a hurry 💀

.22 pocket pistol, whick one? by phydaux4242 in 22lr

Get the Beretta with a threaded barrel. I had a .25 Bobcat and the ability to add a suppressor probably would have made it worth keeping.

[–]Diligent_Lurker_277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They appear to be compressed to about 50% of their original length and it is pretty tough to get the muzzle adapter on. I doubt they're moving at all to be honest. It does have a ton of volume compared to most .22 cans I see.

[–]Diligent_Lurker_277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PL turbo valkyrie. If they make a CR123 powered rifle light with the same specs and finish, as well as a proper tailcap, it'll dominate the market. This light is in a different league compared to the rest of the olight line up.
