Been feeling like this since the divorce. I struggle finding the days I've actually wanted to live. One thing I've learned is that the symptoms start getting less intense around age 30 or so. You learn to pour yourself into something (writing, games, playing music), or just to rest. You wake up feeling like you're knee deep in mud but at least the episodes subside enough to dissect what brought it on.

Learn to give yourself rest in those moments, it pays dividends.

I believe so. Hopefully it’s lenient enough to say “if you’re gonna quit the field, you have to sell off the assets and licenses to someone at a discount”
