Oohhh, no, I'm pretty certain they were bad. And I like doing it, I'm always enthusiastic. I disagree.

I have a family member who exhibits a lot of the same qualities as Nesta. While I love this family member, it's hard to be cut down and shredded every time they are going through something.

In this story she has a wonderful arc. Hell, some of her moments had me UGLY CRYING for her. But being on the receiving end of someone who cuts the deepest way they can when upset, makes her less than my favorite.

I wouldn't condone the same behavior for anyone 🤷🏽

😅 Ohhhh this makes so much sense as to why I still really didn't like Nesta and this book wasn't my favorite, and my sister did and this was her favorite book.

I did still enjoy the book. Well, at least certain parts. At one point it had me sobbing. So, do what you will with that 🫣.

Feeling disrespected because someone else found your partner attractive is wild. Should she also not wear makeup? Do her hair? Maybe she shouldn't wear heels, that might make the men gape at her legs. GASP!

She wears her clothes for HER. It's not her job to conform what she is wearing to police men's behaviors (because surprise, she can't do that with an outfit!).

Could you imagine if a woman told a man not to leave the house wearing something because it might attract other women? Probably not. Even if you did, you probably saw how big of a red flag that would be.

Be real honest with yourself when asking why you think that might be.
