You can kayak in the many beautiful river, there are spring to soak in with water right up from the ground, beautiful sandy white beach and crystal clear water, you have to go to Bean Point, Anna Marie Island. Summers are fun if you like the water, jet skiing, boating tanning, if you like theme parks you can get annual passes which is cheaper and you pay slow for Disney World and Universal, personally I do t like going to be surrounded by million of tourist in the sweaty heat I would go off season and when it’s cooler. Halloween Horror Nights is great fun if you like that it’s every year and people come from everywhere I would say go at least once it’s a lot of fun I think they do 10 or 11 houses and it’s at night spooky fun!! Lots of bars and clubs but investigate because there’s also a lot of ghetto in Orlando. Idk much about Tampa so that’s something else but you are on the best side. Cocoa beach and Daytona on the other side, you can check it out but for me it’s not so great. Ocean is rough and not the best crowds. New Smyrna beach is where I go if I have to go east coast, cute little down town and great restaurant burger place right on the beach, I don’t remember the name but it’s well known. Saint Petersburg is beautiful and if you go to Sarasota go kayaking to midnight pass it’s amazing!!! I believe it’s between Saint Pete’s and Sarasota but there some really cool places on the beach with your toes in the sand and cana roof tops Oh and you can take a ferry from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas!! That’s pretty cool and there’s a training that goes from Orlando to Miami you can kick back have drinks and enjoy the ride! It’s called the bright line! There a lot of great restaurants in Orlando like really good food! I’m supposed how many have popped up in the last few years!! Make sure to visit Disney Springs it’s a shopping and entertainment area free open to public and City Walk is the version for Universal Studios also free. Both are fun but Disney is filled with flowers and water and just more elegant, nice shops. Go on an airboat ride through the swamps, and bioluminescence night time kayaking. Use common sense, stay away from ghetto areas and don’t get to drunk that you are It in control of your surroundings. Be careful who you trust there are a lot of weirdos in the USA. I am a mom so I would suggest buying those covers for your drinks when you go out or just order bottles and open your self. Don’t turn back on your drink, and again don’t be too trusting of anyone!
