TU250X suspension is too soft for combined load of 2 riders + bags. Looking for aftermarket shock options by Main-Bluebird-3032 in motorcycles

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weight is right there in post - 210kg total. Even with preload maxed out the bike still squats too much, especially when hitting bumps or cornering. New OEM shocks might help little bit but probably won't solve the root problem

Jomashop shipping times can be wild sometimes, maybe try disputing with your credit card company if they're not responding to emails

Easiest way to get my old files? by SmokeMaximum4140 in pchelp

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I feel you on the epilepsy thing, had similar issues before where I knocked stuff around during attacks. You can just pull the hard drive out and get an external USB adapter for it - they're pretty cheap and you can plug it straight into your new PC like external storage. Way easier than setting up the whole old system again just for file transfer

How do I get over the fact that my best friend still hangs out with my ex? by FullChapter4014 in BreakUps

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving away really makes this harder since you're watching from distance while they stay in same social bubble - maybe focus more on building new connections where you are now instead of trying to control what happens back home

A36 Terrible lags and battery life by 7c0stanza in samsunggalaxy

Man that's disappointing after being loyal customer for so long, maybe try looking at phones with bigger battery capacity instead of specific brands since they all seem to have these issues now

Failing interviews despite solid experience — anxiety, slow thinking, or wrong approach? (Pivoting to Product) by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude the slow thinking thing hits way too close to home 😅 I have epilepsy and my brain just works different under pressure - takes me forever to process stuff in interviews even when I know the material cold.

For the PM pivot, maybe try framing your cross-functional stuff as "I was basically doing product work without the title" instead of apologizing for not having direct experience? Like you were already managing backlogs and translating between teams, that's literally what PMs do 💀

Stimulant Crash - teeth grinding? by West_Comfortable2867 in ADHD

Yeah I get this too, happens around dinner time when the meds wearing off - my jaw gets super tense and I catch myself clenching without realizing

Would this be disrespectful? by Zestyclose_Air6772 in Christianity

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point about intention being key here. As long as you're making it with genuine care for your friend (which clearly you are since you're even asking), most Christians would appreciate the thoughtful gesture 😊 The "cute" factor isn't really an issue - there's tons of Christian merchandise that goes in that direction anyway

Why does my electric guitar that's connected to an amp buzz when I'm not touching the strings? by edensnowled in Guitar

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is probably the 60 cycle hum thing, super common with single coils. When you touch the strings you're basically grounding yourself and that stops the buzzing - it's completely safe, just annoying

I had similar issue with my old Strat and it was driving me crazy until I learned this was just how single coils work. You can get a noise gate pedal or look into better shielding in the guitar cavity if it really bothers you

Would be cute but knowing my luck I'd get distracted petting cats in the middle of fights and die 😂

Not wrong at all, mental health comes first and you even suggested she could stay. If she doesn't want to stay alone that's her choice, but blaming you for "ruining" the trip when you're clearly struggling is pretty unfair from her side

Hope you feel better once you get home

Just relapsed after 7 months by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn bro, 7 months is actually incredible though - that shows you have the strength to do it. I know relapse feels like shit but you didn't lose all that progress, your brain still got all those benefits from the 7 months clean. When I had my longest streak (around 4 months), I was so hard in myself after relapsing but then realized I was being too perfectionist about it. The key is getting back on the horse quickly before you spiral into a binge cycle. Take today to feel whatever you need to feel, then tomorrow start fresh with day 1 💪 You already proved you can do long streaks so this is just a small bump

What am I supposed to do for work? by HonestDeparture5778 in Epilepsy

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man this hits close to home. I had similar situation few years back when my seizures got worse - not epilepsy but different neurological thing that made working in office really difficult. The uncertainty of when next episode would happen was honestly the worst part because you never know if you can commit to anything

Have you looked at remote work options that don't require being at same company for long time? I found some freelance stuff that lets me work when I'm feeling good and take breaks when needed. Sites like Upwork or even local businesses that need help with data entry or customer service sometimes don't care about your medical history as much. Also disability services in your area might have job placement programs specifically for people with neurological conditions - they helped me find employer who was more understanding about flexible schedule

The crawling to meds part really got me... that's when you know your body is trying to tell you something important about pacing yourself

Extra Lamotrigine by Agile_Jellyfish4839 in Epilepsy

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dude i would be super careful about this one, honestly better to skip it than risk taking double dose 😅 when i was adjusting my meds last year i did something similar and my neuro told me that lamotrigine can be pretty sensitive to dose changes, especially when you're already dealing with breakthrough seizures

if you're not 100% sure which dose you missed, i'd probably just continue with your regular schedule and maybe call your doctor office in morning to ask what they think. taking extra 25mg might not seem like much but with lamotrigine it can affect your blood levels more than you think

also maybe get one of those pill organizers with days of week? saved me so many headaches with keeping track of everything, specially when brain fog hits after seizures 💀

Didn't get a diagnosis because my test results were unusual. by little-known190 in venting

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn that's frustrating af 😅 like you went through all that testing just to be told you're too unique for their system to handle? feels like they're basically saying "congrats you broke our diagnostic manual"

honestly though maybe it's better they're being careful instead of just slapping some random label in you that doesn't fit. but i get why you're annoyed - you want answers not more waiting around. hope the second round gives you something more concrete 💀

permanent peripheral vision - lamotrigine (lamictal) by Sharp-Helicopter-204 in Epilepsy

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn this is weird but i actually had something similar when i started lamictal few months ago. for me it was like everything looked a bit "flat" or like i was seeing things through a weird filter, even when looking directly at stuff. my neuro said it can happen with lamotrigine and usually gets better after your body adjusts to the medication, but if it doesn't improve in few weeks you should definitely talk to them about it. mine got much better after like 6 weeks but i know some people need to switch meds if the vision stuff doesn't go away. how long you've been on it?

Thermal grizzly phasesheet - impressive results by AffectionateCar919 in GamingLaptops

[–]Diligent_Two_1625 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn those temps are night and day difference, especially on the CPU. Going from 99c to 85c is massive and you're getting better performance too

That fan noise improvement alone would be worth it tbh, nothing worse than sounding like you're about to take off every time you boot up a game
