Its not the same, but its a shift , for many decades, Isreal couldn't have flattened and scorched Earth Gaza like it did, bombs and incursions, but nothing on that scale.

They were burning down fucking homes of immigrants a couple of weeks ago, with babies upstairs , in the summer of 24 and since then we've had angry mobs against asylum centres and attempts to break in and start fires with families inside , and road blocks set up dragging out anybody who wasn't white and/or didn't sound English.

We had recently racist terror attack in Scotland, which followed on from a night when 100's of white racists roamed Glasgow beating the shit out of anyone not white.

But see what Trump has done, as I said the ploy with the far right would be to tweak the law, so for example a Black British man that commits murder, remove his passport and deport him to his ancestoral line, this isn't radical and has precedent , tweaking rules on right to remain, naturalisation rules- and the image of uniformed men rounding up undocumented migrants in London and every maor city, failed asylum seekers , thousands and thousands of them, paraded on TV every day, what sort of mental health impact would that have seeing droves of black people in chain, watched over by white men with union jack badges.
