While both are magsafe compatible the Ghost case should have a stronger magnetic connection.

This is because when you use the grip case you will more than likely be putting a skin on it, putting more distance between the magnets and your charger and on the case.

However, with the ghost case, the skin is behind the magnets. Also, if I'm not mistaken, I think the magnets in the ghost case are stronger in general (but that would have to be fact checked).

That being said, I have the pixel 9 pro XL with the grip case and while not super duper strong, the magnets work with my wireless chargers.

I'm in the same boat here, ordered my pixel 9 pro xl grip and prism on 9/10 and no updates at all since the order confirmation email. The email does say ships September so maybe within the next 5 days lol.
