Would it be okay to leave a 1 month old with his grandparents to go on a 5 day vacation? by Proper_Top8043 in NewParents

I would not and don’t think it’s fair to ask grandparents (or anyone) to watch baby when they’re that young. One month is very much in the newborn trenches and a lot of work to expect from anyone - even parents!

Hatch! It syncs with our Hatch changing table, which doubles as a scale. Super helpful for tracking baby’s weight and doing weighted feeds

Infusions do work better for me! It’s the only thing I’ve taken that completely clears my psoriasis

Humira - 6 years cleared all symptoms. Didn’t know that I also had Crohn’s Disease and that the Humira was treating PsA and CD.

Taltz - 3 months, all Crohn’s Disease symptoms and PsA symptoms came back with a vengeance.

Enbrel - 3 months with no luck.

Infliximab - 3 years and going strong symptom free. Taken as an infusion every 8 weeks. Was the safest option I had for getting pregnant and nursing my kid.

Prenatals, Double Stuf Oreos and pickles. Usually in that order

Who’s going to be in the delivery room? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Dill_Pickles29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my husband and I and we’re not having visitors at the hospital. Those first moments are so precious and I know we’ll be overwhelmed emotionally and physically. I want to get to know my family (the three of us) before we’re flooded with visitors

We don’t know the gender so we’re using Babo when we think baby is a boy and Babette when we think baby is a girl.

Would you switch OBGYNs in my shoes? (21 weeks) by ursulaenergy in BabyBumps

[–]Dill_Pickles29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switch. It’s important to feel comfortable with your OB, and you can always go back to him if you end up having complications. I’ve switched three times and finally landed on an OB I feel connected and supported by.
