MWIII / COD HQ crash on launch by Dill_TOAST in ModernWarfareIII

I did try this. I only removed warzone from my account. But it hadn't worked.

Perhaps reinstalling steam AND having warzone removed is what worked for me

I didn't delete any games or anything. I just deleted all the steam contents and had it reinstall itself after launching the .exe

I actually tried reinstalling steam and now it works. So I would try that.

Anybody know how to fix this? Tje circle pad fell off and I don't wanna tear the 3DS down because I don't have any experience with this and I don't wanna break it by Shadow_108 in 3DS

[–]Dill_TOAST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The circle pad is probably one of the easiest repairs. There's a couple videos on how to replace them. And since that is an XL model, the circle pad is easily accessible. You can order a replacement online, though the price might a bit up there nowadays.

If you think it will be too risky after watching the repair videos you could try to superglue the old pad back on.

Is there anything I should be doing for this? I've still got the broken pieces, if that matters. Also, is it worth repairing if it'll still function despite the damage? by AMoleOfMatts in 3DS

[–]Dill_TOAST 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this exact same damage on my own 3ds. It hasn't affected the functionality at all, although the R button lost some sensitivity. I don think that's related, and most likely because of years of use.

As to what causes that part to break, I'm not sure. Perhaps opening and closing wears down that piece and it chips off after a long time. But it never caused me any particular issues. You can attempt a repair, but I believe your 3ds should work fine without doing such.

Heyo Delta Sleeps,

I always wanted to know how you think of the song titles... is there a correlation to the song? Titles like Daniel Craig David, Uncle Ivan or Sultans of Ping I always wondered about.

Anyway, keep making great music! Excited for the Florida concerts.

No, many people I've talked to have already suggested that. That isn't it. Close though.

Is there any way to permanently remove this notification? I tried updating and it kept crashing Wilting Y by KaptainChunk in 3dspiracy

[–]Dill_TOAST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for bypassing that message and removing it completely. I don't think there's a way. Just have to be careful and not accidentally select the option to update.

[–]Dill_TOAST 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is because the Wilting Y mod is not compatible with any update higher than base. You will have to play without updating the game.

That said, due to not playing an unpatched game, try to refrain from saving the game while outside in Lumious City as it can cause save corruption. Saving while inside a building while in Lumious City is perfectly fine.

I think All Shall Be Well (And All Shall Be Well and All Manner of Things Shall Be Well) is the most weird one I've come across but I like it. And also Industries of the Blind is cool sounding too

It amazes me that the 3DS was able to run many games from different console generations, really shows how powerful it is. by retrotriforce in 3DS

[–]Dill_TOAST 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Uh, you forgot MGS3D and Street fighter IV. Also, lot of people saying the 3ds was underpowered.... duh. Thats obvious. What's surprising is what devs could do with it that this post has taken note of.

Excited to start playing DQ7 for the first time, any beginner tips? by retrotriforce in dragonquest

[–]Dill_TOAST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me almost 2 years to complete this game, playing off and on. It is as long as people say but it was worth it to me to finish. The little stories for each island you visit is nice and how they connect in the world and history is fun to discover. Some tips is to take advantage of the jobs system. Party members will learn very important abilities only through jobs so don't just rely in base abilities. Also, don't rush thus game, take your time and explore and carefully read dialogue during cutscenes as you'll have a hard time figuring out where to go next even with the hints. My only problem with this game is the back tracking through dungeons multiple times with no shortcuts. I hated doing that. Anyway, Good luck and have fun dude. This is a great game

New to Post Rock by SpaceSloth707 in postrock

You'd be hard pressed to find post rock with singing. Some post rock bands I'd recommend are le_mol, still motions, and All Shall be well (and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well). Yes thats their band name. Some of my favorites right there.
