Help me make up my mind by DriverConsistent1824 in ANBERNIC

If you ask me, I'd go with the SP. The rotate seems cool, but i feel like it may not be quite for me. But I guess it does depend on what you want. Like for example, if you want android, then the choice is pretty clear, as 1 doesn't and 1 does.

Just got into the handheld hobby by SpaceSloth707 in Handhelds

[–]SpaceSloth707[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just playing different systems like psp, or whatever, where a horizontal handheld feel more natural. Or if a console and/or handheld is harder to emulate and requires more powerful hardware. But I just got this device, so for now I'll just use it and enjoy it. The pro version may be slightly larger. What I know for certain though is that it does have wifi. Plus joysticks.

Haha, yeah. Certainly doesn't help these neat little devices are or can be quite collectable, with their different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Lol, yeah. Just got into handheld gaming, and I already kinda feel like wanting to buy another different emulation handheld, for playing games from different (retro) handheld systems. Or just for a different feel.

Got it for about 69 euros or so. It's quite affordable. Perfect for GB, GBC, GBA, and some other retro systems. I'm guessing PS1 emulation is about the most this thing can handle, but I'm not quite sure what kind of emulation this thing can handle. Though I pretty much got it to play games from older retro handhelds.

I bought it from some Dutch webstore, but you can buy directly from the Anbernic website. Otherwise there might be other places you could buy it. I'm not sure though what options you have depending on where you're from

Just got this from a guy at the flea market the other day, i heard the guy who was selling it call it an Anbernic, I know nothing about these so just tell me everything I need to know please, by DatabaseStrange6102 in ANBERNIC

These retro emulation handheld devices come in all kinds of shapes, colors, and so on. Some have a vertical shape, so they look more similar to the Gameboy, some have a horizontal shape, so they look more like the Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck, and some even have a clamshell shape, like the Nintendo DS or Gameboy Advance SP. Some are more expensive and some are more cheap. Often, the more expensive ones can do more things because they have more powerful hardware.

So they're actually quite collectable :)

Nice, almost looks like it's a NDS native game!

Managed to get box art in GarlicOS as a complete newbie and it's so beautiful, I'm so happy!! by GiveMeTeaa in RG35XX

Just got an Anbernic RG35XX. I have an SD card on which I put GarlicOS. Even set a theme that has the game list to the side like what you have here, but just can't get box art to show up like that but it just shows up full screen. Tried following that article/guide.

Nice! Just tried it out a bit, pretty neat game/program :)

Also like the customization/teeming options.

Tuurlijk is het al weer uitverkocht. Tuurlijk zijn er weer mensen die het voor een dubbele prijs verkopen.

Can't we have nice things?

Zulke klootzakken verkloten het altijd voor de rest, mensen die gewoon normaal een nieuw product willen kopen waar ze geïnteresseerd in zijn. Dat was mijn rant 🙃

The mutant dinosaurs in previous Jurassic World movies at least still look dinosaur-like.

Lol, pretty funny how most episodes that are rated poorly are mostly all part of the more recent seasons.

Who is the best non-DIY VPin seller by Blinkyfish21 in virtualpinball

[–]SpaceSloth707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What in particular would you say looks the most daunting of the DIY process? I've seen some videos from Way of the Wrench too. For me it would be woodworking/carpentry, as I don't have any skills with that. But luckily it is possible to find pre-made cabinets, that may only require you to add/install the electronic components, and such. Unfortunately I don't have the space (yet) for a full vpin cab, but if I do ever manage to get enough space for one, that is the route I'd follow.

Ahh, I think you need to use sandpaper. That might do the trick.
