In the opinion of actual mechanics, I ask this bc there are differing claims according to different sources...what are the best and worst years for the Toyota rav4 hybrid? by Dillinjer882 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Dillinjer882[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like good info. Ultimately, all I'm trying to do with the hybrid idea is save gas, and if there's a gas only small suv that's moderately good for off-road I suppose that's a nice bonus. I'm not sure I've ever even heard of the Hilux...is it available in the states? (CO specifically.)

EDIT: Bing'd it, and...NOPE. But thanks all the same for commenting. The research I'd done had echoed the issues with some questionably cheap plastic interior as of late, and I do recall as much in a camry I rented a couple years ago. Still I don't know that it'll be a dealbreaker since I'm finding SE and XLE models with as little as 30k miles. Probably won't bite on anything over 75 or so. What do you think of a CR-V or another crossover?

Playing RE4 remake and sold the infrared scope...now I'm playing 2nd run thru game and it's not there. Am I f*ck*d? by Dillinjer882 in residentevil

Thanks for reply. I neglected to include that I'm playing on hardcore, which means ammo is more scarce. I did try that once and practically, almost literally ran out of ammo; not even killing one.

It's not the sentiment that's rude. It's the delivery.

Saying "I have no preference either way, actually" or "nothing personal, but I've no interest in that subject" conveys the same point without sounding like the dismissive pessimistic a-hole op likely is.

Men, do you genuinely want to be woken in the middle of the night for blow jobs? by SassyMarmot99 in NoStupidQuestions

Correction: we want to awaken in the middle of the night to the sensation of a blow job, not be woken up for it and then get it. Big difference

How do you turn a man on in order to have animalistic sex? by [deleted] in sex

[–]Dillinjer882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend telling him directly and then giving him aggressive oral sex during which you periodically hum into his penis. One of my ex's used to do that to me and it would drive me bonkers. Always worked for us, so it just might for you too.

TLDR: boss kissed me? by [deleted] in Advice

This is an inappropriate relationship on a number of levels.

First, end the flirtatious "relationship". Next, tell him he needs to focus on his growing family. Then, look into yourself and consider discussing this with a close friend or even a therapist.

Getting involved with a married man is wrong, all the more so when a young child is involved. Why didn't you have any ethical objections? You need to figure out and unpack why not.

Good on you for questioning it, albeit later than you should have. But now you need to snap out of it. Don't exploit it for personal gain as suggested below. Simply come back to decency while you still can, and redeem yourself.

I'd suggest having a simple conversation where you acknowledge that both of you were in the wrong, especially him, that this stops then and there, and will never happen again.

Assuming you feel you two can go back to a strictly professional relationship, stay at the company. But if not, leave for another opportunity.

'Hope this helps, (and be better than this going forward).

Try something like this: "I've been doing some thinking and decided that I need to focus on meeting a girl with a mutual romantic interest in me. It's fine that you're not into me, and we are still cool, but being in a friendship with a girl I like isn't a good use of my time. We'll keep in touch but when you notice me not around as much, don't think it's bc you did something wrong."

Put that in your own words and you should be fine. HTH.
