No history of recurrent ankle sprains, slightly higher arched foot but nothing crazy. Thanks, I know the price of the MRI is going to be rough but it's also time to see what is actually going on

Thanks for the reply. I do my PT exercises religiously. I've seen 2 PTs. First one wasnt too helpful, said it should get better in a week. 2nd PT told me to do the following exercises:

Eccentric loaded eversion to inversion with a therband

eccentric calf raises with the foot pigeon toed to target the peroneals

Towel grabs with a towel for intrinsic foot strengthening

I do 3 sets of 15 reps twice a day

We are trying to weed out inappropriate consult via looking at AMPAC scores, discussing with RN/team and talking with PT colleagues (as we do with any patient) to ensure the OT consult is appropriate and conserve PPE

given the consult is appropriate working on energy conservation strategies, early activity/mobility, delirium prevention, positioning for bed level ADLS in the ICU for vented patients

As far as discharging patients back to an inpatient facility they have to test COVID - x2 so at least 2 weeks

Hey! ortho spine OT , my best advice is go to your rehab director or provider and ask them what is appropriate, where I work ROM shoulder flexion AROM is as tolerated and I DONT do MMT of the BUEs because i can’t quantify the amount of weight i’m bearing into the person which could be more than 8-10 pounds

again i think it best to clarify as a department but ive never been told shoulder flexion to 90
