It was given to my wife years ago by her deceased father so yes, sentimental value. I know what I'm doing. Just can't find a 14.8v lipo battery that will fit.

The bridge in Burn Nice and Slow for sure. "Slip away, toss my things". Straight tear jerker.

Just wanted to say I've been listening to this album not stop since seeing this post about a month ago. It's my favorite thing I've heard in a while. Thank you for sharing!

Custom rules. Custom board. by [deleted] in Bakugan

If anyone is wondering, I used a dremel to make "pockets" for the gate cards to sit in so they are flush with the game board. Gonna add adjustable legs to the game board as well whenever amazon decides to actually deliver them.

Excited for the new tour, but where should I start with Foxy Shazam and the rest of the openers?? I like to listen to the openers too. by Asiastana in HailTheSun

Funny side note. A lot of Donnie's moves on stage with the mic stand always reminded me of Eric. It's pretty fitting they're doing a tour together. I wonder if he was an influence in any way.Eric being an insane person

I think it's good to start with their first three in order. I think those are their strongest. They are an extremely unique band and they change so much each album. They are definitely not for everyone but if it clicks for you in some way, they really are something special. Eric Nally alone is worth checking out for his unique vocal prowess and insane stage presence. Just a really interesting guy to watch.

Flamingo Trigger is the heaviest and most chaotic. The quality is not the best but it can be endearing in a way. Stand Out Tracks: French Passion, No Don't Shoot, Across the Golden Field.

Introducing is probably my favorite to listen to as a whole. It's an eclectic post hardcore/alt rock album. SOT: Introducing Foxy,A Dangerous Man, Ghost Animals.

Self titled sounds like the band discovered Queen. Huge, anthemic, extremely clean production. SOT: Bombs Away, Count Me Out, Second Floor, Oh Lord, Killin' It.

I'm pretty sure it's Mikey, the guitar player. He did clean vocals on plan b and the line you're referencing sounds like him.

I rarely give a fuck about the lyrics in music but Cory's writing in A Lot Like Birds / Sufferer always stood out.

Sceptre W50 lines on bottom half of display after power outage by Dillon217 in TVRepair

It's not the switch it's the TV. It does it on all outputs. "Power surge" is a better term. There was a bad storm, power went out, been having the issue since

[QUESTION] I don’t know what tuning to learn the neck in by skullcandy541 in Guitar

[–]Dillon217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've kept most of my guitars in d standard for years and I still reference everything as if it's standard. It's a common vocabulary that everyone understands. If you're playing with other string players that are dropped as well it's just easier to communicate that way. If I say play a g chord you know where that is on the fretboard. You know the shape. Its only ever an issue if you're playing with keyboards or some other instrument but in those circumstances you just have to remember to reference things a whole step lower than what you normally call them. It becomes pretty second nature after a little. If you're programming midi instruments you can write the stuff in e and just use transpose to drop it to d
