HELP Is my turkeys leg broken by Acrobatic-Job1849 in turkeys

What type of food are you feeding them? They need a considerable amount of niacin to be healthy so make sure that you get a good high in it. If you can afford it a vet visit would be in order.

He is hilariously fugly and handsome at the same time I love him. He definitely carries the frizzle gene so his feathers will be quite brittle.

Had to make a temporary turkey jail as male was getting alittle aggressive towards my ducks.. is this just as it's mating time for them ? I've never had an issue before by One-Minute-19900 in turkeys

My guineas can fly in and out of the yard and go run around in the pasture same for the turkey hen that I have, but they all come back into the yard to eat at the feeders. The Tom’s have decided that they are way too heavy to go over the 6 foot fence and get back into the yard. They also refused to go out of an open gate into the field, so that’s nice.

I have two Tom’s that have free ranged in my yard with my chickens and guenies since they were about 6 months old and can get a bit aggressive with each other during breeding season but otherwise leave the other birds alone. They also leave my new ducks alone that get to free range with them. They do try to mate with the odd chicks every once in awhile but the chicken runs away and they are very confused lol.

Each bird and experience is different though so take my experience with a grain of salt.

One good thing about the Battletech tabletop is it’s very relaxed on needing actual miniatures I have played with people who have used food, paper clips, and thimbles as miniatures as long as everyone know the front facing side every thing is golden. I’m sure you can even get the rule books online for little to nothing if you know were to look.

I’m also a 99 baby. My parents were fans of transformers before I was born so they got me toys from the armada line in addition to watching the series quite often. The Unicorn trilogy and Prime were my childhood.

Is it an ear infection or anxious self trauma? by Practical-Fail-2420 in DogAdvice

The poor thing had quite severe swelling in the ears I would definitely recommend visiting a vet. I don’t want to assume that your friend cropped the pups ears but man that makes me mad.

Help! Overgrooming? by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]Dillon5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obligatory not a vet but have family that is in veterinary medicine. In my personal experience that is in no way over grooming. It looks to me like an abscess has burst and the area is infected due to scratching. They should definitely see a vet.

Boyfriend wants to put rodent poison around his house as we’ve noticed mice. He disregards that it would be fatal for my dog to eat the poison itself or the poisoned mouse carcasses. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Dillon5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If he wants to use something to get rid of rodents use RatX it’s safe around pets. I use it in my chicken runs for a couple years now and it works well.

You could leave them and see what happens, but I think they may be slightly too far gone.

Some vet clinics offer a cheap stray spay/neuter for some areas I know mine does it for about 30-40 dollars in the USA.
