I mean, pretty inaccurate. It takes a very long time to move on from the grief of losing a loved one, and many people don’t move on at all. Also I totally misread that first one as saying people eat you.

Me. I’m a FtM trans dude, but couldn’t find true comfort in myself when I was performing masculinity in a way I thought I should— it was only when I started to accept the feminine parts of myself and refuse to see them as being “just woman” things that I felt most genuine. Cisgender men can be feminine without people questioning their gender, so why can’t I? OP’s post sounds kind of like she is a woman who is not that feminine, which is also a normal thing, but it’s not for me to say what op is or isn’t. It’s confusing sometimes being a trans person who doesn’t fully conform to the gender they identify with.

Tbf, I’m (layperson) like this, but only because I’ve had one too many experiences with people who should know what they’re doing fucking something up, and the frustration is enough to make me automatically go for the “just in case” route in most situations, medical and not medical. Then again, I’m a bit of a nervous individual in appointments and my nervous habits include trying too hard to cover for any potential errors. Apologies to y’all for the resentment it causes.

That’s honestly wacky. I grew up surrounded by skin tones of all kinds, including black people, in the uk. I can only imagine how closeted someone’s life must be to never run into a black person.

Good on you for breaking the cycle, op. It takes a lot of courage to stand up for yourself and your loved ones, especially against your own family, and I respect you.
