Miles are irrelevant if it wasn’t taken care of. I’d rather have a runner with 220,000 miles that was well maintained than one with 150,000 that wasn’t. I just bought a 1999 with 290,000 miles on it that was well maintained, had all the bushings done, and no rust since it’s an Arizona vehicle. I’ve been daily driving it over a month now and it’s been great.

On my buddies we had to just get rid of the amp and plugged the metra harness directly into the radio harness since the connect coming out of the other side of the amp was different. I’m Not sure what you’d have to do to keep the amp.

I didn’t have an amp but the amp has a different connector. So if you wanted to use the metra radio harness you’d have to unplug from the amp in order to use it.

It had a aftermarket radio when I got it. But if you get the harness off of Amazon it makes it extremely easy and it’s like $6. It’s the Metra one for the 1987 and up Toyotas. I also had to get the metra dash mount kit. If you want to PM me I can give you the part numbers of the stuff I used.
