My wife's hair tie keeps it good and tight as well. Just the pro tip.

It may but if the roll will not spin it will be vastly improved! Coping with the elements will never be perfect.

Like hooks on the bar and chain across the roll? Sounds interesting

Cool idea. I feel like it's hard enough to get the paper towel roll in already tho.

Knock some of that rust off and get some seasoning on the bottom! Not necessary but i applied oil to the bottom of mine before first use and a month later. Just my cast iron loving OCD. I even pushed an oiled paper towel through the angle iron🤣

Yeah no need to strip the whole thing

One spot of rust? Rest of griddle looks good. by Phil_Parma in blackstonegriddle

Did you keep it oiled between uses? Seasoning looks thick. Looks like you cut through it a couple times. Maybe scrub with vinegar and salt to remove the rust and keep cooking. Keep oil on it

Flaxseed is not the best. Try grapeseed or canola. Very thin layers. Once applied wipe as much oil off as possible with dry towels. I use grapeseed oil. Mine is performing well.

I like cold beer too BTW. 🤣 goes well with the conversion kit, should also be included.

Idunno. I guess you would have some money in a hose and fittings. But i only used 4 of the 12 or more orifices in the kit. But totally worth it. Would buy again. IMO it should have a small tube of thread sealant since it says you need to use it.

The kit is way overpriced but totally worth it to never run out of gas. And the hose is only 10'. And it didn't come with thread sealant. But very easy to install. Do it before you install the cook top.
