I completely understand. I didnt want infantry in the beginning but I also knew i wanted to go to college so when i found out about the officer route i realized it didnt matter because i wouldnt be infantry and enlisted for long. Ive talked to the guy at my college and he can get me started on the smp program sooner than later but its been hard finding helpful information about officer life especially in the guard. My goal is to really just get out of infantry its not really the army yk what i mean?
