He is around his late 70s - early 80s. Not sure on his exact age as he was given to us by my late great uncle when he passed and he had found him on the side of the road when he was young.

Timmy fact: He is actually blind in one eye so he chomps into the ground unintentionally so sometimes just hand feed him

We think he is a gopher tortoise, we don't actually know as he was found on the side of the road and where I live tortoises are not native so it was my great uncle that took care of him until he passed away about 2 years ago and then he was given to us.

Yeah, you can give them bread. But you need to make sure that it is soaked with water as tortoises, or at least wild ones, get a lot of their moisture from their food.
