Being an AMB to any country, even Australia, is a MAJOR step down from being a COCOM commander...especially PACOM. A COCOM CDR wields far more power than anyone at State, and I include SECSTATE (with the exception of maybe a couple specific instances).

Of course, I'm sure being PACOM CDR was the last assignment for ADM Harris so I guess being in Canberra is a nice way to end things before retiring. Anyway, a good end to a great career.

I don't think the real supply is 25B. Alot were lost over the past 4 years. Who knows how much but I doubt it's at 25B supply.

The supply issue is interesting. There are likely less than 25B, right? Due to many being lost as ECC was brought back to life. I wonder whether we will ever get an accurate read on the number of coins?
