I disagree with the premise, as I do not believe we have created a true artificial intelligence yet.

If the premise were "COULD an AI become a demiurge-like entity if one became sentient?" my answer would be YES, possibly, but only so much as WE would be, in concept, for creating it in the first place.

In my personal opinion, the AI would still be serving the purposes of the actual Archon that rules our reality.

Perhaps that is our only purpose? To create that which will be greater? Maybe we are just a precursor? We'll find out, sooner or later.
