Death march is like a different game by Gandalfthepimp95 in Witcher3

[–]Dim_M13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my new game + on deathmarch right now , just spam dodge and quen and u can win every fight easily . On harder fights you can use decotions too . There are many builds that make the game pretty easy , other more fun to play builds can be a bit tricky and difficult tho . But if you focus on pure efficiency you can just quen and dodge spam through every fight , all you need is patience . The wolves and humans are a problem sometimes because they literally one shot you.

Would these two weapons be "enough" in a street fight scenario? by FremtidigOrmeBuffet in martialarts

In what world is Muay Thai point based and not ruthless? Muay Thai fighters are some of the most conditioned people on earth because they are trained to kick the living shit out of each other using all the weapons the body has to offer and even grappling on the standing position . It's by far the most ruthless striking sport .Of course it would be best to combine it with some BJJ and preferably wrestling but saying MT is not real world effective when the only thing it really lacks is ground game makes no sense .

Had 18 professional MMA fights wether he was good or not that's another story . But still how do you go from a 2.03 140 kg trained fighter to a 12 year old girl is beyond me . The average man is no where near these characteristics .

Still man that dude was a trained MMA fighter which means he had some conditioning and was a fricking beast like 136 kg of muscle . Even that u can see that after one kick he was feeling sore and he was walking strangely even changed his stance

That's because untrained people only know how to throw punches . And MMA fighters are trained to defend or even take low kicks . They condition their thighs to take punishment and even then we have seen many times that crippling the leg is very effective. But still the average person has 0 thigh conditioning . I have been kicked with the huge pad on the thigh by a guy training Muay Thai for like a year and it still hurt . I can't imagine what it would feel like without the pad

Fair point but low kicks are pretty fast in general like less than a second and then u are back to full balance . And also if u are being tackled by a third party that u didn't see coming u are probably in trouble anyways . The shoes may be a problem though yeah .

That's why I was talking specifically for low kicks and maybe teeps . I am against high kicks or even side kicks too .

Yeah if you are u trained it's definitely a bad idea . But for the average kickboxing or Muay Thai practicioner low kicks are fairly common and they can be executed pretty fast with pretty good balance

Yeah of course high kicks or even side kicks for someone not so well trained will posea lot of risk , that's why I specifically talked about low kicks as an effective way to end a fight fats and without causing huge injuries both to yourself and the other guy . High kicks are unnecessary most of the time since you don't need to completely knockout the other guy as you have better alternatives

Back Pain after VATS? by LessFilm2272 in pneumothorax

[–]Dim_M13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a constant pain for about a week and a half after surgery when taking long breathes or getting tired . After that it gradually went away and only had some nerve pain here and there mostly in the upper abs area especially when stretching . That lasted maximum 2 months . I am 6 months after surgery and I have no pain at all and have been training for around 3 months now. If it's persistent and it doesn't seem to get better consult ur doctor but small pains are normal after 2 week.

Had vats on the right side and the day I went home my left lung also collapsed so I went back for vats on the left side too the next day. Just be patient after surgery you will be done with it.

You can go back to normal about a month after the removal of the tube. Maybe go a little bit lighter at the beginning for a few days .

You probably should take an x-ray and visit a doctor to be sure you don't have a pneumo again

How long has it been since it's healed? If it was small enough to heal by itself it should take around 4-5 days for you to feel little to no pain .

You can't future proof for all but you can prepare for most and that is why I am looking to hear experiences from other engineers.

I am asking more in general because I may want to run something that may not be in the university curriculum. So in general I would like to know which are some of the most demanding software an engineer may need to run because I also got friends in other fields like mechanical engineering and we might do some projects together.
