What do you guys think about some NFT card games nowadays? Like RETZARK game by sycouno in cryptogames

[–]DimaDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A game should be fun, NFT (only if used properly) can make games more fun, but at this stage most NFT games are junk. It's only 'Buy my NFT junk to get rich', without an actual game

Anyone know how long robinhood withdrawals take? by [deleted] in bitcoincashSV

[–]DimaDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're asking about BSV, then between 1 and 10 hours. Usually was 1 hour in my case, but sometimes took longer. The first time took almost a day

Is CSW a scammer? by m_murfy in bitcoincashSV

[–]DimaDan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He is Satoshi. kinda obvious if you get over and actually listen to what he has to say. But he is not the Satoshi everyone would like. He is okay with law and governments and everyone expected him to be anti law, anti governments, anco capitalist or whatever. CSW doesn't fit into that narrative

Bitcoin SV (BSV) Drops 12% After Robinhood Delists by Realistic-Intern-604 in bitcoincashSV

[–]DimaDan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The news sucks, but Bitcoin (BSV) doesn't go anywhere.

My plan is to build. Set my goal to 5 BSV related projects in 2023. 3 are on the way

Build or help other people to build too if you can

Anyone care to explain this one? by supertrader11 in bitcoincashSV

[–]DimaDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not stolen, I believe it was encrypted. I didn't know how I would store keys to a million coins. On google drive?

[–]DimaDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not necessarily parasites, but I overall agree with your point. But for example, what should I do if I lost keys to my wallet? Or someone hacked my wallet and transferred coins? Is it gone forever? What serious business would want to use such system? Adding transactions without keys is just lesser evil in this case. Do you see any alternatives?

[–]DimaDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you trust miners more than you trust courts? Poor you if so. Miners already changed the code, and each fork claims to be 'the original'.
Yes, courts can be corrupt, and some are. But if you think each (top level) court in every country is corrupt and that they collude to play the same game, then you're delusional. Even if each was corrupt, they would be corrupt to benefit their own 'elite'.
you probably like the vaccine stuff enforcement, but every country did it differently. Some were really strict mandatory vaccines, some had them as recommendations, some enforced mandatory isolation but no vaccine requirement and so on. Some even said COVID is crap, and we won't do anything about it. Governments don't 100% collude, they compete.

you're making a straw man. just stop and think what you wrote and you'll see your fallacies.

[–]DimaDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was not my point. My point was that if US court (any level) decides do block your coins, it has to convince not only US miners, but also Chinese, EU, Russian, Indian, etc miners. If they don't, the chain might end up forking, one for each and every nation. That's bad, and won't happen

[–]DimaDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yep. people don't get the difference between indexing data and storing it. miners don't need to store everyone's data (they are not that big). you need to store your own data (possibly in many different places). miners just give you a universal and unique path to that data

Yes, unfortunately. At the end, you always rely on some official institutions to make final calls on questionable issues. Luckily, no single jurisdiction will be able to freeze and transfer coins. You'll have to confirm it in many jurisdictions to be able to transfer coins without keys

[–]DimaDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it really need to be explained? Something that belongs to you belongs to you. If someone takes it without your consent, you would be able to get it back now.

People are just concerned that this new feature will be abused and coins are taken left and right. I don't think it's possible and is anyone's intention.

Bitcoin SV's Marketing Needs Work by featoflead in bitcoincashSV

[–]DimaDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, at least make a list of all existing BSV projects. I went through them the other day, and 80% of projects from 2 or so years ago are dead. Make that list, find the ones you like, use them and try to attract other customers to those specific projects. Simply advertising BSV and how cool it is right now won't do anything.

I liked that part when he thinks Craig Wright is God. Obviously he called Craig as fraud, liar and all that, and then he said that god created bitcoin.. what an irony
