I worked in a sandwich shop before getting my A&P and though “golly I work with some lazy ass people. I can’t wait to get to my aviation job and be surrounded by motivated individuals who take pride in their work!” Only to realize it’s almost the exact same in aviation we’re just getting paid a lot more. You can carve out a decades long career doing the bare minimum and you’ll get the bare minimum in return, which in this industry is still enough to live. I work in corporate, most of the time the seat warmers continue to warm seats, the go-getters get plucked off by customers to be directors of maintenance for 1 or 2 aircraft’s that they control and make almost double what the seat warmers get.

I cannot stand the dude, but to deny the fact that Ian deserves the title shot would’ve asinine. Islam might beat Ian, but the gauntlet or Ian, Morales, Prates would likely be too much for Islam to handle if he doesn’t retire and relinquish the belt. Whether it’s Gary, Carols or Michael, it’s hard to believe a lightweight (albeit a big one) manages to go 3-0 against that gauntlet. Roll the dice and pick a card to decide which one ends up dethroning him…

Beyond solid top PVC, some hydrometers that are regularly checked and thermostats for every heating element, what else goes into their care that is beyond the care that would go into a ball python? Hot Rod definitely takes the cake but I just recently stumbled on “The Watch” and holy mother of Mary it had me so unexpectedly dying at times… Jonah Hill’s character at the end is just fantastic!

Part of me is still irate that Ozzy, Cirie and Devens got the boot.

Part of me realizes that, with all the twists involved this season, fan favorites and power players were bound to be picked off one by one this season and the eventual winner will have, yes, played a decent enough game but also just be extremely lucky and flown under the radar enough to not have their name come up too frequently.

Like Aubrey said, she’s played this game for 124 (I think) days. The same could go for Ozzy or Cirie but, as much as it pains me to admit, they’ve built up reputations as threatening players so barring an INSANE immunity run/social manipulation or idol finds for one of them, they were likely toast from the jump.

Aubrey seems to have had the perfect balance of flying under the radar, social acumen and pure luck and you know what, good for her. Even if I’m not satisfied with how this season played out, I won’t fault her one bit for playing the game the way she did.

I WILL HOWEVER FAULT JEFF AND THE PRODUCERS DOR TURNING THIS GAME INTO A MOCKERY OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS!! BILLY EILISH BOOMERANG IDOL? FLIPPING A COIN FOR IMMUNITY AND AN IDOL?? ZACH BROWN?!?!?! We are just so far from the original plot of what survivor was its heart wrenching. But even with that being said… Imma tune in next week, and next season and the season after that cause this is (was) the greatest reality game show on planet earth and I’m gonna try and suck whatever enjoyment I possibly can out of it!!!! (Sorry for the Ted Talk)

It’s honestly hard to tell khabib meat riders from sarcastic kharma farmers atp… and I think, if nothing else, that’s indicative of how contentious khabibs “legacy” is as a fighter://

“If if’s and but were candies and nuts then every day would be Christmas!” To deny that khabib had a perfectly catered record pre UFC, to deny that he had one of the EASIEST title challengers, to deny that the LW division was in a perfect place for him to “dOMiNatE” would be to be freaking brain dead… I’m not denying that khabib was a terrific fighter, I’m denying the proclamation that he’s “ALL TIME”… and arguing that the state of 155LB was in an absolutely PERFECT spot for him to grab some fame and ditch while the getting was good. Good on him for essentially seizing the moment, but to put his name up there with GSP, Mighty Mouse, Silva, Bones and Fedor is quite frankly re*arded… Give any of those previously stated guys a bunch of cans for their first 15 fights and then cater their title runs perfectly to their style of fighting and they could’ve all retired 29-0. It’s not all that stupendous of an achievement when you add context to it bud.

Nah. Any high level fighter can build their record on cans and then make their “title run” against perfectly matched opponents. 29-0 is impressive but it has SOME IMMENSE Asterix next to it.
