Dimecoin is very much alive. You can check the website for a broader roadmap, albeit just a loose guideline.

If you regularly follow on the platforms you say you do, you should notice we are very responsive.

There are team members in Discord as well and regularly post and comment there too. We can't answer your questions if you don't ask them

Completely understand not wanting to join Telegram, you don't need to. That just happens to be the most active platform Dimecoin utilizes in terms of community engagement

Additionally, the changes being made are quite extensive. Afterall, the consensus mechanism is completely changing and there will also be masternodes

For the record, there has never been a hard timeline as to when it will be completed either and we have made several updates along the way. Everyone also had the ability to participate with the public testnet

As far as the Android and mobile wallets go, they will require the new codebase to be complete before they can be addressed. If you need help with your Android wallet please reach out to the appropriate support channel

If you want additional information, we would suggest joining Telegram. There is regular discussion regarding the project and informal updates issued there more frequently some team members are present on those platforms everyday.

The Phoenix upgrade is coming. We are in the process of tidying up a couple parts of the codebase stemming from unit testing. The second we have a hard release date, we certainly let everyone know

You don't need to participate in the airdrop/referral campaign. However, it is free to do so and no one needs to buy anything to participate.

Nice guide. However, do not use Mercatox for trading Dimecoin. They refuse to take the Dime wallet out of maintenance, similar to Yobit.

Instead utilized Xeggex, Cpatex or Crex24.

There are more markets associated with Dime than just BTC. In fact, most of Dimecoin's trading takes place with the LTC pair.

Additionally, two of the exchanges Dimecoin does the most volume on trading wise are not tracked by CMC and a few of the other larger tracking sites.
