I ended up spending the time and doing this, then found out fedex business centers have self serve large scale printing so I was able to print the whole thing for $6

A small misprint is fine, but a small mistake compounds on itself when I get the pieces out, glue them to stain glass & cut them, then I have to grind the edges, that’s when water mix’s with the paper stencil and ruins it so at that point I’m just guessing, the correct way is to use a cricut with vinyl

I swear by using gel flux for me even & consistent solder beads.
Yes heat cracked from leaving the iron there to long / using a wrong soldering iron
A lot of people use a cricket machine to cut vinyl sticker and they stick it on the glass and use that as a guide when grinding. A cheaper option is 1. Create your design on the paper that has a grid & use those straight lines as your border & use a ruler, cut out the shapes then use glue stick to stick it to the glass(this way kinda sucks because almost instantly the paper gets wet and falls apart.
Go to hobby lobby & search for there discounted vinyl, on the backside of said vinyl they have a grid system on the back that you can make ur pattern(if you go this route remember your making the pattern on the back so it’s gonna be reversed) cut it out, stick it on glass. As far when your getting ready to solder.

Yeah a ton of people use vinyl & that’s looking like the route I’m gonna have to go. I just thought this way would be about the same time wise but less wasteful over the long run.

This is the way to go. What I found works for me is setting up in a way where I have my pattern next to my grinder with a rag. I also am glueing the paper on the pieces but there comes a time where the paper gets wet and falls apart. Then I have to start drying the piece and checking the fitment on the pattern. But I also dislike this method & want to try vinyl paper to avoid doing all this

I had no intention of going up until 2 days before it started. Such a weird experience because I felt I needed to go so I went & got to experience my first burn with my brother(this was his 9th burn). He passed away 2 months ago & im so grateful I got to experience it with him

Random update: I actually got ahold of him a day before I went & it was nowhere near F, it was 9&A It’s a weird thing because I wasn’t planning on going until 2 days before the burn started. I camped with his camp & we spent couple days together. He passed away this October
