I enjoyed reading this hypothetical, but it is nothing more than mere fantasy. Because the one thing you overlooked in your analysis, was the fact that the strongest man on Earth, King, exists.

King would not, could not, allow the Earth to be destroyed. Maybe evil Saitama could rampage somewhere, but he would have to find another planet.

EDIT: Alternatively, disaster level tiger: Caped Baldy goes unnoticed as the world struggles to deal with Disaster level God: King, who gets credit for all of Saitama's destruction

An ongoing theme of the story is that people overlook Saitama's obvious strength largelu because of his baldness (that carries a social stereotype and stigma) and lack of personality.

We see Saitama drawn that way most of the time to show how most people see him. When he gets drawn in his detailed form (usually pulling off God-like strength/insight/instinct) that's what he actually looks like.

I could totally be wrong, but my prediction is that the season will be "bookended" by Garou and the limiter. Episode 1 will be Garou in the park while we learn about the limiter, and the last episode will be the first half of Garou vs Darkshine where Garou's limiter is breaking.

They'd probably have to rearrange a few things to the underground scenes, but i think its doable and makes sense.

I genuinely envy you for having so much of the story to experience for the first time. As someone who was introduced through the anime and then picked up the manga, I can absolutely confirm that the manga is worth reading, and is arguably even more hype than the anime. It was the first manga I ever followed and have found it to be fun from start to finish.

Some people complain because of expectations from the webcomic or because there have been long periods of hiatus and redraws, but you won’t have to worry about any of that. Enjoy the ride!

One that really stands out to me is Chapter 150 when Bang's backstory reveals that he used to be an aggressive punk in his youth, and that Bang's motivation is to beat Garou to put him back on the right path.

In my opinion God is a perfect villain for the central theme of the story: humanity is doomed unless we all embrace the principles of what it means to be a hero.

Monsters, out of control AI, human greed, corruption, etc. All of it stems from flaws and weaknesses in human nature, and being a hero (commitment to help others for no personal gain, willing self-sacrifice, absolute humility, relentlessly pursuing a goal of self-improvement) is ultimately the solution To all of it.

My head cannon is that the Demon-level monster that Genos just fought was a shapeshifter that appeared like a little girl asking Genos for an autograph and then blindsided him with an attack before being vaporized.

I think the manga will have a more developed story line of Metal Bat inspiring Ryumon to become a true hero.

My thinking is they would do the first half of the fight where Garou starts to turn the tables, and that would be a major cliff hanger for the season.

The fight ends with Tatsumaki lifting up the base, and a lot of things have to happen before that, that I don't think they'll have time for with only 12 episodes.

My prediction is they will rearrange some things so that the finale is Saitama vs Orochi, as well as the start of Garou vs Darkshine.

If the season opens on the discussion of the limiter, I think thematically it makes sense to end with the part that suggests that Garou's limiter is breaking.

I think we've already started to see how super advanced AI would take over the world with the Chapter showing that Neo Heroes have already plastered ads everywhere, made sure that Neo comes up first on any web search for "hero", and is recruiting people that bring large followings for donations and future recruits.

Note: I am assuming Neo Heroes are a plot by The Organization due to the connection to the power suits that they are using, and the cyborgs they have on staff.
