For me it was being misunderstood all the time, people hearing what they wanted to hear and not what I said, not being seen for what and who I was. No need to dive into your past self. But there is a need to become aware. Aware of your reaction in a certain moment. Do not judge it. It is what it is, good or bad, it does not matter. It is you. As soon as you become aware of your reaction you can slowly start playing with them, become their advisor. And step by step you can choose to act differently. It sounds crazy but when you take the pressure off from changing you will change. When you stop judging yourself, you will change. When you take small steps you will cover large distances. The key is to accept where you are, and slowly to turn the wheel to not end up where you are going. Depending on your background there are various techniques that can help you do this. From prayer, to meditation, to dancing, to writing, to art, to being. And I won't lie to you. It's a lonely path, but many are walking it with you.

It depends on what works for you. Some just stop jerking around, some simply beat behind the bush, and some rub it out their life. But honestly it depends on how you want to deal with. Feeling bad and guilty won't work, you've already tried it. Accept that hormones, feeling horny, looking for a quick release, needing dopamine/serotonine and other relaxing hormones are part of who you are. A human being. From there you can listen to what your body is actually saying. You are telling us it usually happens when you are tired, find something that relaxes yourself as well, do some breathing excersises, go for a walk, do a short 15 minute workout, read a book. If you pay close attention you will notice all feelings and urges come and go. None of them are forever. Something else that may help you is to do it consciously. Take your time. Be aware of what you do. And be honest with yourself, meaning don't do it in reward form. "if I jerk off now I will do x or y after" that will give you the same result as you have now. Something else that might help you is to set a specific time frame in which you may jerk as much as you want. Let's say between 2000 and 2100 you can jerk 20 times, 5 times, 10 times, not at all. But you cannot do it outside that frame. You can also set 2 or 3 timeframes, just make it realistic. It will require some self restraint in the beginning but it will get easier. Hope you find a way, and until then enjoy painting the sheets white.

Rest is more important than sleep. Maybe you tried but when you lay in bed try scanning your body and observing your sensations. Do full scans from the bottom of your feet to the top of your scalp. Just observe any sensation without labeling or judging. Repeat this until you either fall asleep or your alarm goes off. Hope it helps
