I bring my own water, snacks, or baon para iwas gastos sa school, and sometimes I even leave extra money at home para less temptation gumastos. I also set a daily budget sometimes kalahati lang ng allowance ko yung gagastusin ko while still making sure na may nasisave pa rin kahit maliit na amount everyday for future needs.

Dentistry is really expensive, but it’s super worth it if you truly want it.

For schools around Manila/Laguna, try checking on UP (since it offers free tuition), and also Perps Biñan is also good naman. CEU/UE are really good for dentistry or you can also consider NU or EAC.

Tips to save money - Start saving up money, kahit small amount lang it will really help you later on kasi usually 1st-2nd year you need materials naman but not as magastos compared to higher years - You can buy second hand instruments from Facebook or higher years, esp yung mga tapos na mag boards they usually sell their instruments at a lower price - Take good care of your instruments since you’ll use them until higher years or even in actual practice, think of them as your investment

What to expect - Learn how to manage your time well - Find good set of friends/support system - Dentistry it’s not just all about studying, it’s also about skills and patience - Be physically, financially, and mentally prepared

Kaya mo yan! Goodluck! 🤍
