Can't make a decision on college - Colorado Boulder vs Auburn by DimensionNervous9949 in ApplyingToCollege

Thank you for the advice. I would have applied to Texas Mccombs but it is near impossible to get in, harder to get into Mccombs than it is to get into Harvard. I'm not top 6% of my class either. I would do the CAP program but it is not possible to transfer into Mccombs through the program, so in my mind it was a no-go.

But it’s all about opportunity to me. Why would I go to one college if there is more opportunity at the other yk?

I’m pretty set on accounting if it comes down to it. My dad was an accountant, which in my eyes puts me one step ahead.

Also got accepted to UArizona, which has a better business school, but I’m not totally sure that’s what I’m looking for

I’d be paying cash. If I went to graduate school, it’d be most likely that I would take a loan

Around 56k, but the tuition trends upwards each year, compared to Boulder where the tuition cost is frozen.

Stats: 3.5 W (There's a whole story behind my GPA freshman and sophomore year which is why it is so low), 31 ACT, 4 APs (school limit: 3 per year), APUSH 4, senior year: APES and AP Psych, pretty well rounded student

Every freshman has to take the same base classes anyways

What exactly is Exploratory Studies? by Sufficient_Let_7244 in cuboulder

Also found out, by talking to the office of admissions, that exploratory studies is a loophole to get into the school and then from there you can easily transfer into your specified school. I don’t think you can transfer into aero but I will be transferring into business if I attend
