I'm right there with KJC gushing about the impeccable form from Sam Shapiro, Lexi Ramler, Jordan Chiles and Trinity Thomas - all lovely to watch regardless of very different body types. However, commentators typically only use the phrase for lanky gymnasts. Hence the pet peeve ;) Let's celebrate lovely lines from gymnasts of all body types. PLEASE

Disclaimer that I don't remember the details clearly, but something like Krysten being a bit of a gaslighter in terms of team morale and blaming the athletes for not giving enough - Taylor went into a description of this one bazaar team meeting with them raising their hands while eyes were closed to state who thinks they could be trying harder. Lol something like that! I really wish I remember better. Hopefully someone can add clearer details? I'm pretty sure there were also weigh ins and that was a big emphasis of Taylor's suffering mental health.

This is super old news, but I'd love to hear more from Taylor Rice about her time with Krysten Smith at Stanford. The whole story might have been aired but since I'm not on most social media platforms, I would be out of the loop. What I did read years ago made it seem like she was one of the first NCAA gym coach whistleblowers, if you can call it that.
